Basic physical concepts with selected contents of physics in the 7th and 8th year in school.
Consolidation of the content in the areas of mechanics and thermodynamics: force, mass, energy, impulse, inertia, rigid and elastic body mechanics, oscillations and waves, kinetic theory of gases, thermic conduction and diffusion, fundamental laws. Basic physical concepts of optics and quantum mechanics: geometrical optics, physical optics, waveparticle duality, basics of quantum machanics: particle in quantum wells, atoms and molecules.
Measurement of basic physical quantities (length, time, voltage, current); Documentation of experiments, measurement errors and error analysis, linear regression; Simple and basic experiments from mechanics, optics and thermodynamics; Documentation and error analysis.
Theoretical Thermodynamics: Fundamental concepts and laws of thermodynamics, thermodynamic potentials, simple applications of thermodynamics, phase transitions, the connection between entropy and probability, basics of kinetic theory.
