Objectives Students should be in a position to sufficiently master theoretical base Knowledge covered during the corresponding lectures. They should learn to design parts and component assemblies for machines.
Subject Presentation of seven computational examples; Development of a small design project step by step in homework assignments.
Criteria for evaluation Correctness of homework assignments. Results of two calculative tests. Correctness of the design project regarding caclulations, design and accordance of drawings to standards.
Methods Calculation exercises in ex-cathedra teaching, Homework Tasks in Moodle, Homework assigments to be presented to a student tutor
