Subject - Europe as a domestic market? – The economic dynamic of the European integration process

- Europe as a social model? The Lisbon Agenda and the 2020 Process

- Civil rights in Europe ?– The Charter of Fundamental Rights and the fight against discrimination

- A European Cultural and Education Area? – Unification (Bologna) vs. Differention

- Where Does Europe End? Transatlantic bonds, Islam and Occident, Russia and Europe

- Globalizing Europe – Free trade, North-South collaboration, climate protection

- Special European Paths: such as Rhine vs. Anglo Saxon Capitalism, European welfare regime, country and markets
