Objectives The exercise lecture allows deepening the proposed methods in the analysis of systems, modeling and control and provides the opportunity to implement, test and validate these methods for simulation examples.
Subject - Introduction to MATLAB as well as to the Simulink- and the Identification-Toolbox
- Mathematical description of systems in time domain as well as in frequency domain
- System properties (Stability of continuous time and discrete time linear time-invariant systems, linearity, controllability, observability)
- System identification
- Control of systems (PID control, State feedback control)
- From measurements to the controlled system including the design of a simple observer
