Objectives |
Students are prepared for independently authoring their master thesis. They choose a scientific problem in one of the major subjects of the master program, and are able to define the subject-specific and scientific value of their thesis. Students are able summarize the main findings of their own scientific work in the form of a presentation and to discuss their findings.

Criteria for evaluation |
• Frist presentation 30%
• Second presentation 40%
• Participation in class 30%
Attendance: min. 80% of the meetings.

Further information |
The seminar is offered as a dual-teaching course. The number of meetings may depend on the number of students who are participating in this class. It is possible to present the first presentation in one and the second presentation in the next term, longer delays require special permission. Students must coordinate themselves with their supervisors, the supervisors must be present for each presentation.
