Detailed information |
Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme (*)Betriebswirtschaftslehre 2021W |
Objectives |
Students are familiar with the fundamental (optimization) problems of (sustainable) transportation logistics. They are able to formulate them in a structured (mathematical) way. They understand the concepts and algorithms which are commonly used to solve these types of problems and they are able to apply them to case study problems.

(*)- Basic graph theoretical concepts necessary to model transportation planning problems
- Shortest paths problems, traveling salesman problem
- Vehicle routing
- Network optimization
- Solution concepts and algorithms (exact and heuristic methods)
- Applications (such as city logistics, disaster relief, last mile delivery)
