Objectives |
Upon completion of the course students will be able to:
- explain how the internet and the WWW work
- name the main components of dynamic, data-driven web applications and explain how these components work
- install a Content Management System (CMS) on their own webspace
- publish content with the CMS
- modify and adapt the appearance of a website made with the CMS
- name the important phases of an IT project and explain the activities done in these phases
- create simple UML use case, class and activity diagrams
- create a software requirements specification for a web application
The course is aimed at non computer science students
