They understand the structure and functionality of information processing systems (hard- and software) and the structure and operating modes of operating systems. They have basic knowledge in the field of software development, including object-oriented and event-driven programming and know its state-of-the-art. They are able to solve basic practical exercises in the field of developing software systems.
