Objectives
  • Understand fundamental tools and functions of management
  • Know how to apply fundamental tools in various functions to solve managerial problems
Subject This course provides a basic understanding of management and is structured in three parts:

  • Management Theory: Introduction and Classical Approaches to Management, Motivation, Groups and Leadership; Systems and Contingency Approaches to Management; Contemporary Approaches to Management
  • Management Practice: Context of Management, Strategy, Organization Design and Change
  • Functional Management: Marketing Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Information Resource Management
