| Objectives |
The course aims to teach students the basics of IT systems in controlling. This includes in particular the definition and introduction of controlling software, the design of an information supply process and basic concepts of business intelligence as well as an understanding of the term ERP systems. Data flow and data sources for controlling are taught. Controlling software (e. g. Professional Planner) is used to illustrate the interrelationships of integrated planning in practical work. Students should be able to independently create a monthly report with plan/actual comparison, comments and graphics using MS Excel software on the basis of given annual plan data and a list of balances.
