Objectives The students are able to apply the knowledge acquired and the skills developed in the subject 'Finance' to solve practical and scientific problems of the subject. The students are able to work independently on subject-specific topics. They are able to acquire the necessary specialized knowledge in line with the current state of the art using current literature and to present the results of their work professionally in writing and orally. Basic techniques of scientific work, namely literature research, structured evaluation of scientific work and presentation of scientific findings are necessary skills.
Subject The subject of the course is based on current developments and trends in the science and practice of finance. Each semester, the course deals with a different topic.
Criteria for evaluation Working on the topics in individual work, the written seminar paper, its presentation as well as the participation in discussion and reflection of the seminar topics will be assessed.
