Objectives Exercises accompany the Physics lecture (314.430) to deepen the knowledge obtained in the lecture.
Subject
  • Introduction to prabability and statistics
  • Introduction to thermodynamics, with special emphasis on energy and entropy of different thermodynamic systems (polymer chains, ideal gas, Carnot process, van der Waals gas), mixtures of fluids and thermal conductivity.
Criteria for evaluation Written examination weighted by the input during the excercises.
Methods During the exercise the students will be given an opportunity to independently solve exercises on the blackboard and discuss the results with the group.
