Objectives Students develop

- basic awareness and understanding of the importance of web and software accessibility

- knowledge about guidelines, techniques and tools for implementation of accessibility

- practical skills in evaluating accessibility of software and web pages/applications

- practical skills in development and design and development

Subject - Potential and importance of ICT for people with disabilities and the ageing population

- Assistive Technologies and requirements towards implementation of systems and their HCI related to requirements of vision, hearing, motoric, cognitive and psychological disabilities

- Knowledge and skills in applying web accessibility guidelines, techniques, tools and standards of accessible web and software engineering

- Practical examples of of evaluating and (re)designing for accessibility

- Knowledge on how to best implement software and web accessibility into software engineering processes
