Original study plan |
Master's programme Computer Science 2016W |
Objectives |
The course objective is to provide students with an overview of the role that modelling plays in the development of internet applications. In addition, the course will introduce existing web modelling approaches and enable a critical reflection of their strength and applicability with respect to various internet application types. Special attention will be given to the model-driven development of “ubiquitous web applications” required for context-awareness.
|
Subject |
The role of modelling in web engineering; Basic model-driven engineering for internet applications; Overview on specific approaches (WebML, OOWS, OO-H, UWE, etc.); Characteristics of “ubiquitous web applications”; Customization as a mechanism to address context-awareness.
|
Criteria for evaluation |
Grades will be based on the results of a written project and oral presentation
|
Methods |
Slide presentation with cases studies; project assignment
