Introduction to the field of Digital Signal Processing and Digital Signal Analysis, its basic models, techniques and algorithms.

Subject |
Phasors, physical basics, digitization (sampling and quantization), feedforward filter, feedback filter, Fourier series, discrete Fourier transform (DFT), z-transform, applications of the DFT, spectrograms, filter design.

Criteria for evaluation |
Written exam at the end of the semester.
