Objectives (*)The aim of the course group "Advanced Electives in Management and Polymer Technologies" is to gain more insight into polymer technology and management related topics on a more advanced level. The students must select courses from the offer of this group of courses in the range of 8 ECTS. Due to the character of the program, special attention is devoted to praxis relevant courses of the polymer processing and engineering and of the polymer chemistry. Moreover, to strengthten the management quality of the program, additional courses from this field can also be selected.
Subject (*)This course group contains advanced courses related to:

  • polymer chemistry, physical chemistry of polymers, chemistry of polyolefines
  • polymer related chemical process and production technologies, reactor design and design of chemical devices, instrumentation and measurement techniques
  • application related material selection and qualification
  • advanced polymer processing technologies, safety analysis of processes
  • practical and economical aspects of product design
  • advanced management courses on "global management and strategy" and "patent law and intellectual property"
