Objectives Introduction to the numerical treatment of fluid flows by Finite Volume method (CFD), acquirement of basic skills in modelling, meshing and simulation of fluid flows
Subject - fundamentals of numerical simulation of fluid flows using the Finite Volume method
- working with the software-package FLUENT/ICEM
- generation of tetrahedral- and hexahedral-meshes
- practising the use of FLUENT/ICEM by means of standardised examples
- elaboration on an individual project
