Objectives |
This course expands the knowledge of the methods covered in the course "KV Discrete Time Signal Processing". The students gain the ability to develop and analyze digital signal processing systems as well as to implement such systems in digital signal processors.

This course covers the following topics:
continous Fourier transform signal processing using MATLAB analog filters: filter types, design methods z-transform discrete-time filters: design of FIR and IIR systems filter structures discrete-time Fourier transform: computational complexity, Goertzel algorithm multirate signal processing: decimation, interpolation discrete time Hilbert transform sampling of bandpass signals cepstrum analysis

Criteria for evaluation |
4 home exercises: 50% of final grade
written final exam: 50% of final grade
In order to pass the course it is required to pass the final exam and to acquire more than 50% of all possible points.
