Objectives - To become familiar with hydraulics - Understanding of the key components and their mathematical modeling
- Knowing circuits of standard drive concepts and being able to derive - mathematical models for them
- In general: to be able to apply the knowledge and skills of a mechatronics engineer to problem solving in oil hydraulics

    * Fluidmechanical fundamentals

    * Auxiliary equipment
    * Hydraulic circuitry and controls

Methods Ex-cathedra teaching with exercise examples; elaborate lecture notes (in English); intense interaction with students during the lecture; Deepening of the understanding is provided by the hydraulic lab course (not obligatory)
