Objectives |
Experience how to set up and solve convex optimization problems with Matlab,
knowledge about the conversion of practice-oriented problems to convex optimization problems,
experience in the solution of optimization problems by variational calculus

Application of Matlab and YALMIP to the formulation and numerical solution of convex optimization problems, design of digital filters by linear programming methods,
stability analysis of linear systems by semidefinite programming, design of state space controllers by semidefinite programming methods, applications of variational calculus,
