Detailed information
Original study plan Master's programme Mechatronics 2015W
Objectives Understanding of the material presented in the corresponding lectures, Gaining practical knowledge in the operation of pneumatic systems, components and measurement devices
Subject The laboratory exercises in pneumatics are conceived as an accompanying lab course for the lecture of the same title. The course is held in small groups on industrial quality test benches. Starting with basic experiments on circuit technology, the labwork ranges to specific problems like seal friction, the influence of thermodynamic effects, etc. Besides the hands-on experience with real pneumatic systems, the course gives insight into the field of instrumentation, sensor technology, and experiment design.
Criteria for evaluation Entrance examination, collaboration, lab reports
Methods Setup of experiments, computer simulation of selected experimental processes, widely autonomous experimental work
Language German, if desired English
