Objectives This workshop supplements the lecture "Polymer Chemistry. Students will discuss problem solving tasks in order to enhance understanding of the course material.
Subject Polymers, types of polymerisation reactions, reactors, polymerisation kinetics, polymer characterisation, molecular weight of polymers, viscosity of polymerisation mixtures, heat removal from reactors during polymerisation, data acquisition during polymerisation, polymerisation processes, industrial relevance of polymers
Criteria for evaluation Successful completion of exercises and presenting work on the board in front of the class.
