Seminar lectures, original and secondary texts are used to help students cognitively learn more about all of the "classical" types of ideological criticism from the Age of Enlightenment to the present. Students will analyze each ideological definition characteristic and criteria as well as methodical instruments (in which ideological criticism ensues with the help of these instruments) whereby here, internal criteria (such as analysis under the aspect of truth/deceit) and external criteria (analysis as justification and dominance mechanisms) are explored.

Wahrheit/Täuschung) , externe Kriterien (Analyse der Funktion von Ideologien, etwa als Rechtfertigungs- bzw. Herrschaftsmechanismen).
