Objectives |
Students know the function of public international law (PIL) regulating the interaction of sovereign states and other subjects of PIL, know the interface between PIL and domestic law, gain an overview of basic areas of PIL and its mechanisms of the settlement of disputes.

Methods and sources, domestic law interface, states and other subjects of PIL, elements of statehood, territorial regimes including sea, air and space, diplomatic and consular relations, responsibility, liability, settlement of disputes, use of force.
