Objectives |
The exercise lecture allows deepening the proposed methods in the analysis of systems, modeling and control and provides the opportunity to implement, test and validate these methods for simulation examples.

- Introduction to MATLAB as well as to the Simulink- and the Identification-Toolbox - Mathematical description of systems in time domain as well as in frequency domain - System properties (Stability of continuous time and discrete time linear time-invariant systems, linearity, controllability, observability) - System identification - Control of systems (PID control, State feedback control) - From measurements to the controlled system including the design of a simple observer
