Objectives Information on the design and dimensioning of electrical drives and actuators.
Subject The course Design of Electrical Drives and Actuators focuses on the design of electromagnetic components and the design of brushless permanent magnet motors. In addition to theoretical basics, the course offers insight in to ongoing calculation and design examples from the Institute's core competence research (electrical drives, magnetic bearings). Both analytical models and FE-programs are used for solving the application-oriented problems.
