- Civil rights in Europe ?– The Charter of Fundamental Rights and the fight against discrimination

- A European Cultural and Education Area? – Unification (Bologna) vs. Differention

- Where Does Europe End? Transatlantic bonds, Islam and Occident, Russia and Europe

- Globalizing Europe – Free trade, North-South collaboration, climate protection
