Objectives The students are able to trigger and stimulate knowledge processing in enterprises and take responsibility for them. They are able to capture knowledge-intensive processes, to design analysis and management tools such as balanced scorecard with regard to their use context and to evaluate them. They have the ability to support virtual enterprise networks from multiple perspectives according to domain characteristics. The students are also capable to recognize change potential, to explore it in a method-driven way, in order to establish new business practices in the course of organizational change management. They can develop new methods of knowledge management to support further development of company processes, bundle methods according to their capabilities, as well as perform and conduct business engineering projects accurately with respect to domain knowledge and method selection.

Business Engineering & Management can be completed with 6, 12 or 18 ECTS. It includes the listed subjects and modules, however, mandatory the module Business Engineering & Management.

In case the subject Business Engineering & Management module has already been completed within the Bachelor's degree program (individual competencies), the student needs to select from the field of Business Engineering & Management in the Master's program at least another subject / module of 6 ECTS.
