| Objectives |
Students recognize the strategic potential of information technology and its importance for achieving organizational goals. They know the main tasks of strategic IT planning and are able to use appropriate techniques and methods for it. They are able to see the contribution of IT to organisational value creation, can evaluate organisations from a process perspective and use the methods and tools to achieve organisational goals and implement changes. They are also able to manage companies in the software business, respectively to develop and market software products and services.
