Objectives According to the objectives of the COSOPO program the thesis is the most important part of the programme, as reflected in its workload and the quality of the work required. The thesis is defined as a student’s independent work in which s/he can show his/her ability in selecting the topic, defining the research question, mastering the methodology, and demonstrating his/her capability of critical and consistent thinking. The purpose of the MA Thesis is to allow the student to prove his or her ability to carry out an academic research independently and in a substantively and methodologically correct manner.
The Master's Thesis Seminar supports students in the process of defining a topic of the Master's thesis, writing the Master's thesis proposal, and writing the Master's Thesis.
