Objectives The classes in this section provide students with an opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge regarding specific social policy fields. Students can choose the courses they are taking from among a broad range of courses offered.
Students must complete a workload of 15 ECTS credits (meaning a minimum of three classes) from this section.
Subject Courses on various research areas of social policy:

  • Social Demography
  • Family Policy
  • Social Inequality and Exclusion
  • Gender and Social Policy
  • Political Dynamics of Social Policy-Making in Select Fields
  • Work, Employment, Welfare
  • Optional Studies*

Students can choose three from these seven options.

  • In accordance with the academic coordinator students can choose up to 5 ECTS from the partner universities regular Master’s programmes or from other European universities Master’s programmes. "Optional studies" can consist of studies that support thesis preparation, meaning more in-depth courses in the thesis topic.
