Objectives
The courses in this section provide an overview of social protection institutions in major welfare regimes located in advanced industrial countries. These courses explore the various roles and modes of public welfare production in different settings, examine how public policies are embedded in different societies and labor markets, and analyze how welfare states and the politics of welfare reform can change in these different settings.
