Objectives In this course, students create a programme which will set the internship parameters (tasks, the student’s personal objectives, etc.) and reflect critically about the outcomes of the internship.
Subject Before the practical training, students participate in pre-sessions organized by the department. After the practical training students take part in a feedback session, in which the training report of the student will be discussed. In the report the student evaluates his/her success in achieving the set objectives and assesses the implementation of the social policy function of the organization based on some reading of the relevant secondary literature. The training report must fulfill the standards of academic writing.
Criteria for evaluation Attendance and active participation in pre- and post-Seminars for the Practicum is obligatory (30%).
Preparation of an analysis paper of the practicum (min. 8 pages) (70%).
Methods Discussion and feedback session, written internship report.
