Objectives (*)By the end of the course participants will experience, through a series of challenges, what is required to build trust and influence stakeholders more strategically through their approach to communication in a multinational working context. They will also gain new insights into how differences in cultural assumptions can impact on productivity and how unmanaged cultural diversity can lead to breakdowns in communication, relationships and missed business opportunities. They will be able to reflect on past and analyse future work situations ensuring that cultural diversity issues are recognized, acknowledged and discussed before they can undermine successful cooperation and the delivery of results. They will have insight into their own preferred styles of working internationally and of influencing stakeholders on a peer to peer level.
