Objectives
Students become acquainted with the importance of the category gender as well as its social, economic and scientific implications.
Subject
Contemporary theoretical and empirical approaches of women’s and gender studies.
Criteria for evaluation
Attendance of 80 per cent is mandatory. If requirements concerning attendance cannot be fulfilled, it is not possible to achieve a positive grade. All the selected literature has to be read, students have to present one selected paper, write summaries and prepare questions for another group.
