Objectives This lecture provides base knowledge of polymer chemistry. The course focuses on the basic syntheses and characteristics of polymers.
Subject Polymers, types of polymerisation reactions, reactors, polymerisation kinetics, polymer characterisation, molecular weight of polymers, viscosity of polymerisation mixtures, heat removal from reactors during polymerisation, data acquisition during polymerisation, polymerisation processes, industrial relevance of polymers
