Objectives This course is focused on advanced techniques of data manipulation and storing. The main focus is on object – relational mapping and object oriented application design. Students gain skills in object oriented application design (UML), database design for object data and object-relational mapping. During the course software solutions for object-relational mapping will be developed and some ready-to-use solutions will be used (Linq-to-SQL, Hibernate). Non-relational database platform will be also discussed.
