Objectives Students will be provided with models, concepts and architectures that support a proper implementation of security in information systems. Accurate implementation of security in information systems has to ensure interests of the user but also of affected third parties in terms of privacy, integrity, anonymity and availability. Access control, data flow and integrity control and anonymity are important aspects therefor.
Subject Architectures of Information Systems with particular focus on security relevant parts; Security Models and Concepts for Database and Information Systems; Authenticity; Anonymity
Criteria for evaluation Written exam at the end of the semester (66%), Quality of Project (34%)
