Objectives Education in concepts and methods for understanding and elucidating molecular structures of biomolecules and -materials including up-to-date research topics.
Subject Important techniques for determining and modeling the structures of biological molecules and materials, mostly focusing on the experimental techniques of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
Further information Students with a Bachelor degree in Biological chemistry or equivalent must choose a total of 26,1 ECTs from two of the three chemical elective subjects, with a minimum of 10 ECTs in each of the selected ones.

Students who have graduated Bachelor or "Diplomingenieur" in Chemistry, Technical Chemistry or "Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen - Techische Chemie" or equivalent must choose a total of 20,2 ECTs from two of the three chemical elective subjects, with a minimum of 7,5 ECTs in each of the selected ones.
