| Objectives |
The goal of this seminar is to practice scientific skills, such as, reading, understanding, evaluating, summarizing, and presenting literature.
Students are required to read and understand a recent paper in bioinformatics or a related field and to give an oral presentation summarizing the paper.
Pro's and con's of the approach presented in the paper must be discussed in context with other published approaches. Finally, a written summary and evaluation must be handed in.

The final grade is determined by a combined assessment of the oral and written presentation.

| Methods |
Students can choose from a list of subjects and are assigned a supervisor for instructions and support. Students may combine their seminar topic with the topic of the practical course "Project Bioinformatics".
