Pre-requisites (*)KS Einführung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre, KS Einführung in die Volkswirtschaftslehre, KS Kostenrechnung, KS Buchhaltung, KS Produktion und Logistik und IK Produktion und Logistik ODER die Zulassung zum Masterstudium Wirtschaftsinformatik.

Objectives Students know the main aspects and decision problems in the field of logistics and supply chain management. They are able to describe various planning situations using appropriate models, choose suitable methods and execute them as well. They have competent knowledge of single decision situations in logistics and treatment of complex supply chains.
Subject definition of logistics systems, decision tree, network design (location planning, median, p-median, add/drop), transsipment, transportation planning (heuristics, transportation simplex), process design (queuing theorie), single period inventory management (service levels, uncertainty), warehouse operations, container setting, supply chain management (product and production design, contract design).
