Subject Main topics covered are:

Qualitative Inorganic Analysis; discussion of the basic principles of cation and anion analysis

Basic introduction into the statistical treatment of measurement results

Quantiative Inorganic Analysis; basic theory of gravimetric analysis

Quantiative Inorganic Analysis; basic theory of acid/base titrations

Quantiative Inorganic Analysis; basic theory of redox titrations- determination of Cu2+ and Fe2+ by Iodometric or Manganometric titration respectively

Quantiative Inorganic Analysis; basic theory of complexometric titration

Quantiative Inorganic Analysis; basic theory of precipitation titration (Cl- by Argentometry) with potentiometric detection

Basic principles of thin-layer-chromatography and UV-spectroscopy (in a reduced form – just to allow proper understanding of the experiments conducted in the Lab Course)
