Detailed information
Original study plan Bachelor's programme Technical Physics 2016W
Objectives This special subject will give an overview over particular properties of matter at the nanoscale, and introduces important fabrication as well as analytic methods.
Subject Where are nanomaterials encountered (metals, semoconductors, composite materials, biological materials) and what makes their particular properties

How are nanomaterials fabricated (bottom-up growth, top-down structuring) Which methods can determine nanomaterial’s properties (div. microscopy techniques, scanning probe techniques, scattering methods, “indirect” methods sucha as luminescence or Raman scattering)
