Objectives |
Based on the foundations of General Management as well as Human Resource and Change Management the module focuses on processes of learning and change on the individual, group, and organizational level. It facilitates students to interpret and reflect on the academic discourse in the field of strategic change and learning and to craft as well as to present academic manuscripts. It facilitates discussions about academic findings of gender-related aspects in the context of Human Resource and Change Management. It facilitates students to assess the relevance of current academic works in the field of Human Resource and Change Management to cope with practical challenges.

„Strategic Change and Learning“ strategic management and planning as starting points of formulating an HRM-strategy; foundations of behaviour in organizations (motivation, skills, culture, and structure as central levers of individual behaviour in organizations); groups as institutions that determine social norms and impact on organizational culture, strategic and operational aspects of HRM issues (motivation, commitment, equal (gender)opportunities, pay and rewards, HR-development, performance evaluation, leadership); strategic learning on various levels (individual, group, organization); routines and capabilities as drivers of organizational patterns of action, interventions in social systems (groups and organizations); balancing the antagonistic tendencies of stability and change; organizational development.
