| Ziele |
The course is designed to help students
- practice and improve the language structures and skills necessary to understand and explain complex business contexts
- apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the course to critically analyze business information
- develop and practice the social skills necessary to work and learn in a team
- practice and improve research abilities
- improve formal and informal presentation skills

- Sector Presentation (formal, in groups)
- Personal Reader + Commentary
- Vocabulary building
- Required reading from Business English Handbook Advanced (Ch 1 – 12)
- Required reading: Porter, Michael E.: What is Strategy? HBR

| Beurteilungskriterien |
- 100% attendance
- Active participation in class, group and online activities
- Informal presentation (Guided Tour)
- Sector Presentation (formal, 10 min per person)
- Personal Reader + Commentary
- One in-class assessment (90 min), 3-5 mini-tests
The final grade will be based on an equal evaluation of oral and written work and the grade on the in-class assessment. Both the oral and the written work must be positive.

Dabei erfolgt die Anmeldung zu dieser Lehrveranstaltung gleichzeitig mit der Anmeldung zur Startlehrveranstaltung [ 1FENIF ] KS Interkulturelle Fertigkeiten Englisch (C1). Eine getrennte Anmeldung im Rahmen von MUSSS ist nicht möglich.
