Objectives Students are able to understand, analyze, and utilize concepts and theories of Business Engineering and Management for the development of business-relevant application systems. They have in-depth knowledge in one of the basic areas of Business Engineering & Management, e.g. Enterprise Architecting.

Subject Fundamentals of Business Engineering and Management for the development of sector-specific information systems, in particular for increasing the agility of organizations; Systemic modeling, knowledge acquisition and processing, evaluation, architectures of distributed interactive application systems, socio-technical system design and organizational learning taking into consideration strategic, tactical and operational aspects in a coordinated way.
