Understanding the theoretical concepts for the description of macroscopic systems in thermodynamic equlilibrium

Subject |
Fundamental concepts and laws of thermodynamics, thermodynamic potentials, simple applications of thermodynamics, phase transitions, the connection between entropy and probability, basics of kinetic theory

Criteria for evaluation |
(1) Number of successfully solved problems, (2) quality of presentations/commitment during the excercise course, (3) excercise exams.

Independent solution of problems (alone or in small groups), presentation of solutions during the excercise course.
