Objectives The course aims to provide students with the tools to establish their own business and pursue self-employment.
Subject The course concentrates on the core elements of creating a business plan which outline important steps required in creating a business and how to incorporate and assess dominating market forces and how to evaluate the market. Students will learn which institutions and individuals can provide financial resources and how to finance a business idea. Course content includes: • Entrepreneurial marketing • Base knowledge of fiscal law • Accounting • Corporate law • Social security law

Guest speakers from the business community will provide first-hand insight into their business practices.

Criteria for evaluation Examination
Methods Lecture by the course instructor as well as guest speakers from the local business community experienced in today's business practices.

Further information This course is held only during winter term. Attention: Beginning with summer term 2014 the completion of Kurs 1 (2UGEKU1) is a prerequisite for participating in Kurs 2 (2UGEKU2). Kurs 2 is only held during every summer term.
