Objectives
Students are able to analyse Business Informatics topics competently both in oral and written form (task description, understanding of contracts, presentation of specific topics).
Subject
Technical terms, characteristics, speech patterns; understanding, structuring and production of subject-specific texts; situation-related and general communication techniques; written and oral communication techniques.
Further information
The Fachsprache Englisch seminar should be taken alongside a seminar from “Chosen Aspects of Business Informatics”. The techniques learnt in the English seminar can be put into practice by dealing with the topic covered in the Business Informatics seminar. A final paper and presentation using subject-specific language and knowledge are to be completed. The grading is separate and decided by the respective seminar tutor.
