Objectives |
The course aims to provide students with an understanding of theoretical concepts and field tasks pertaining to start-up organizations. Students will learn to critically reflect on individual measures in regards to start-up management processes. Moreover, students will be in a position to successfully develop individual steps needed to create and develop a business (business planning).

Subject |
The course focuses on problems associated with the creation and development of a business as well as the support of entrepreneurial behaviour within an existing businesses (intrapreneurship). Key topics include the integrated financial planning process, the development of a marketing plan, and the change management process during early phases of developing a start-up company.

Criteria for evaluation |
1 Written examination 100%
Students must earn a minimum of 50% of total points available on the written exam.

Methods |
In order to attain the course objectives, the following will be implemented during the course: theoretical input, group exercises, phases of critical reflection, and in-class discussions.

Study material |
The core reading material for the examination is available at the Student Union store. The compendium contains current and core publications in the field of Entrepreneurship as well as material on case study analysis. All papers contained in the reader are relevant for the written examination.
